The internet is a huge gimmick when it comes to music education. You can pay big money to have some nobody email you a video clip of him playing some superfast lick that won't sound good in any genre other then fusion and will leave your audience bored and not on the dancefloor.

So - do what every good musician has had to do, sooner or later, JOIN a group (or start one!) and woodshed with your record player on, jamming along to your favorite CDs. No one cares about clones - if you can't play the solo 100% thats fine - just make up your own that sound similar to the style that you want to emulate. It's a good idea to look into music that developed alongside the blues (8 bar, Ragtime, Piedmont, Dixie) so you can incorporate more chromatic movement, and especially more major sounding licks. There's alot of blues that is actually really major, it's getting it's sound from that good ol' flatted 7th tearing against the major 3rd.

Anyway, good luck. I'd start out with the wolfgangsvault.com website. It has thousands of old archived concerts that you can jam along too.
