Sapphires are a less expensive alternative to the diamond ring, but are every bit as stunning and durable. These gems are also known as fancy gems. Sapphires and rubies are often found together. The predominant gem found in the mines; tend to be the larger supply. Sapphires are found in Burma, Thailand, and parts of North America. Due to over mining there are shorter supplies of sapphires, making them more expensive. But if you shop around you can find a ring to suit any budget. Blue gems symbolise love and have an almost angelic look to them, making them the perfect romantic choice, along with being the choice of one of the most famous princess in the world.
