This book uses "name calling" words that I would rather not add to my children's I made the mistake of not previewing this book before reading aloud to my kids. They laughed until Private Investigator Bean and her assistant Ivy discovered the mystery that bopks in the heart of Pancake Court. Stealing money? Very upsetting thematic material I thought the books were very well written and captivating, I was extremely displeased with the subject matter.
