She lives in New York City with her daughter. An excellent read for familiarizing yourself hrbs spices and herbs that flavor our favorite meals. My only gripe with the books is that rather than having a picture for each entry they do pictures of many spices every couple pages so the pictures and the entries are always separate from each other.
