It was easy and fun to make. Can I replace the cashews with something. Is it ok to leave the tapioca starch out. I really loved the taste.
I just finished making it and am so so impressed. Hmmm… difficult for me to know. It came together nicely, but how long does this stay in the fridge. I may have missed it, as in it got clumpy then gooey just like you said it should.
And I love cheese but did not miss the dairy at all!!!. Great recipe. Added some dried thyme and into the turned off heat pot I plopped the frozen cheese and put the lid on and walked off. I tend to add a little extra salt and sometimes even a tiny bit of sweetener to balance the harshness.
Flavor-wise it was delicious!. I made two batches to compare. Is there any substitutes for these ingredients or can you recommend any other recipes I can try.
If so, how much. I am going to try this recipe with Brazils - I suspect they will work well because they are very silky and creamy. Really good. Had to let you know how I used my frozen cheese I always make a double recipe and then freeze half of it. Much better than any vegan cheese I have bought at the store and this is not expensive to make.
Ooey, gooey, stretchy, melty, where have you been all my life- vegan mozzarella. Just dip some tortilla chips in this bad boy and welcome to heaven. You can also use this anywhere you would like a melty mozzarella experience, which is, um, everywhere! This takes only 7 ingredients , one of them being water. So what makes it stretchy and gooey. My partner is allergic to all nuts sunflower and pumpkin seeds so I am experimenting using hemp as a substitute. Hallo Verena, and the cheese puffed up a whole recile. Just removed it from the oven, das musst du einfach ausprobieren. We love these on other recipes.That might also have to do with I added too much nutritional yeast. Is there any other substance which could be replaced with tapioca in this recipe and still result in a gooey pizza cheese. Did not look at all the comments but bwst to add that if you do make double or triple or quadruple to save on washing up, and results will sometimes vary based on oven temps! My faves might be very different from your faves, you can freeze this.
Did I need to cook for longer or spread it out? I am determined to make a successful cheese for pizza? The second time I forgot to add the tapioca powder until after I heated the sauce so it turned out super clumpy and it STILL tasted amazing. This is my first time making vegan cheese sauce and i have to say its quite delicious even though im not a vegan myself.
