I believe he was either Biology or Math teacher…he wore clogs and his veins would stick out of his neck when he was mad… and he woyld spit when he yelled. Yes amazing…LeConte even still looks the same, at least on the Bronson Av frontage side.Being in the Le Conte theatre is his drama class was one of the happier memories of my childhood. The elementary school at Russell Street in Berkeley was named for Joseph LeConte from  untilwhen it was renamed scbool to concerns regarding his views on race. That was better than school.
