Overall though, I think I'm missing the point of the book as it's not selling itself as a self help book not that I've ever read any of those anyway but I'm not really sure WHAT the point was. Overall a brilliant book which I thoroughly enjoyed listening to and will happily do so again.

A fan of Derren or not, psyc. How does it frighten us. They have defined it in many different ways and come up brwon myriad strategies for living the good life!

You should be more concerned with this remembering self. Your bestial experiencing self has an attention span of about three seconds. Expressing your unhappiness in a sensitive way is one of the most productive things you can do in a relationship. Certainly this is a very good book for stepping back and thinking about how one interacts with a relatively privileged Western life and especially with social media and city existence.
