It is so incredibly easy to make and takes only about ten minutes from start to finish. I just love easy soup recipes. The flavours of this Tomato Basil Soup are fresh, vibrant and untainted. The only ingredients are tomatoes, onion, garlic and basil plus a little oil and seasoning. Because it is cooked so quickly the amazing fresh flavour of the tomato is retained and the pungent flavour of the basil is conserved by adding it at the very last moment before serving. Once the tomatoes, onion and garlic are cooked up together in a pan, they are all blended up with the fresh basil then served immediately.

My husband loved it and got upset when I accidentally spilled some of the leftovers lol. Servings : 4. Have a wonderful new year! Last Sunday I have made the tomato soup for my son.

This is going to be a staple at our house! Starting with fresh tomatoes and taking the little bit of time to cook them creany and release their flavors makes a BIG difference. This is so easy, so I decided to take my first stab at making tomato soup. That is awesome! My friend shared lots of huge tomatoes from her garden, you can make it before work like I did. I am so glad that it was a good soup for you.

Preparation

Thank you for a great recipe. Had to add half a tube of tomato puree and some ketchup so that it even tasted of tomatoes. This soup is the perfect start to a meal, or as a meal in itself. I will add carrots instead of a pepper.

Made with a secret ingredient of white beans to give it creamy consistency without using dairy, and is a plant-based protein to make this soup extra hearty and satisfying. No dairy? No problem. This recipe is unique by using white beans in replacement of dairy. Unexpected I know. But when white beans are pureed in any type of soup, a smooth creaminess develops. It makes this soup SO satisfying and delicious!

I fireroasted and peeled the red pepper before I added it to the mix. And oh boy. Avid lover of all things food, especially Mexican and dessert. I cannot wait to make this!.

We don't have plans to do this at the moment but new features are always being added so we'll keep this one in mind. Shoot the tomatoes in off the chopping boardsprinkle in a good pinch of sugar and grind in a little black pepper. Will make again and again!!. I actually added cashews that I soaked in hot water to thicken recope soup.

By the way, I found your smoothie recipes online recioe spring and I have had a smoothie for breakfast every day since. Just use 1 kilo with an extra dash of tomato puree at the end if you want a stronger taste.
