Tasted fresh from the oven.For those of you who also had problems with sticking, try machnie the just-boiled bagels on a wire rack or a plate to drain off any extra water before putting them on the cooking sheet. Read the recipe and was shocked at how simple it seemed. Thank you. But they look and smell heavenly.

I have found it better to let the dough rise for minutes so that the bagels retain their shape after they are shaped into balls. Perfect recipe. I also always mschine my yeast in the freezer until I use it. They were crunchy on the outside and just the right amount of dense and chewy inside.

And it seems stupid to make something that takes more effort than walking down the block to our local bagel shop. But seriously… This bagel recipe is so worth making.
