  2. I used dried dill seed and the salt used for canning. Add them in to the bottom of the jar with the dry herbs. I see the Claussen pickles use distilled vinegar. My husband is making a second batch today.

  3. Always crunchy and garlicky, no canning experien. Pickling Salt Dilll salt is recommended for pickles because it is pure and without additives. THese look so delicious - thanks for sharing your secrets. For dramatic presentation I like to place my dill on the side of the jar.

  4. We actually boil the pickle juice first and let it cool. Just wanted to say thanks? Any other suggestions for using it! I just made these and they are great but my palate is sensitive to salt, can I adjust the salt in the recipe.
