Jillian Michaels Black Bean Chili Recipe | SpI love pesto so I was excited about this recipe. Pesto is a sauce that was originated in northern Italy. It is traditionally made with garlic, basil, pine nuts, olive oil, and Parmigiano Reggiano. This version is made with parsley, spinach , walnuts, olive oil, garlic, tomato paste, lemon, and cinnamon. Quite a different take on pesto. The chicken also has a twist, it is seasoned with cinnamon. Jillian suggests some other dried herb options for the roasted chicken to have different flavors for other uses like salad or with vegetables.

I switch jilian meats sometimes and add more verges, but I love this as my chili base. My husband said this is the best chili I have ever made! So maybe more like a cup and a half. Made this and the flavor was amazing but it was WAY too spicy.

I did it on a regular basis for over a year and I could tell that my arms had gotten stronger and my abs were rock hard ok, not quite rock hard, but definitely harder than they are now! However, this time, I had to skip holding the weights during a few of the strength exercises and I took way more breaks than Jillian would have allowed.
